Chhattisgarh New CM Vishnu Deo Sai: BJP has announced the name of Vishnu Deo Sai as the new Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. Political experts believe that the party has taken this decision keeping in mind the tribal voters in the state. Even before this, the BJP had made several announcements to target the tribal voter. In such a situation, it can be said that the BJP has put forward Sai as the Chief Minister under a well thought out strategy.
In Chhattisgarh, tribal voters are considered very decisive. Tribals constitute 34 per cent of the state’s population and 29 seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribes. It is believed that no party can form a government in Chhattisgarh without tribal voters.
In the Chhattisgarh elections, the BJP won 29 of these 17 reserved seats. However, this time this vote has come in BJP’s favor, a big reason for which is Vishnu Dev Sai.
